Khaled bin Sultan Living Oceans Foundation 2021 Science Without Borders® Challenge

Khaled bin Sultan Living Oceans Foundation

The Khaled bin Sultan Living Oceans Foundation is now accepting entries for their annual student art competition, the Science Without Borders® Challenge!

This international art contest inspires students from all over the world to be creative while learning about important ocean science and conservation issues. This year’s theme for the competition is “The Magic of Mangroves”. The theme will encourage students to learn about the benefits of Mangrove forests and their importance to coral reefs.

Prizes of up to $500 will be awarded to the winning entries. The Science Without Borders® Challenge is open to all students worldwide who are 11-19 years old and enrolled in primary or secondary school (or the home-school equivalent).

You can see the winners of the 2020 Science Without Borders® Challenge which took place under the theme “Take Action: Conserve Coral Reefs” here.

Entries must be received by Monday, March 1 2021, to be eligible to win. To learn more and apply, visit the foundation’s website at LOF.org.
