Starting July 1st 2018, and until the 30 of June 2019, the ICRI Secretariat is hosted by the Principality of Monaco. The initiative will be jointly co-chaired by Monaco, Australia and Indonesia until mid-2020. The hand over ceremony was held on July 4th, in Paris (view the programme of the event).

The next General Meeting, and first one under the next chairmanship, will be held in Monaco, on 5-7 December 2018. A one-day workshop on “innovative funding for coral reefs” (to follow-up the recent release on of report on innovations for coral finance) will be held on December 4th.
