Non Governmental Organization

CCMI is a non-profit organization founded in 1998. Our mission is to sustain marine biodiversity through research, education, outreach, and conservation programs. The majority of our programs are carried out at our research station, the Little Cayman Research Centre, located in the Cayman Islands. Our current research foci are climate change and coral reef stress and management of invasive lionfish. We also carry out annual coral and fish surveys as part of our long-term environmental monitoring program.
