Key participants from all over the Caribbean met in Puerto Rico on 3-6 September to plan to write up of a Regional Lionfish Control Strategy. The workshop was organized by ICRI’s Regional Lionfish Committee (RLC). The Strategy is now under development and will be promoted in relevant international fora.

November 1 – Integration of draft strategy, sending stakeholders for review (ICRI, CARICOM, SPAW-RAC…)
January 31, 2013 – Deadline for reviews and integrate final document
February 28, 2013 – Publication of the strategy
